By way of this Data Protection Notice we therefore want to inform you what data we save, and when and how we save them – of course by way of complying with the valid German data protection requirements.

At any user’s access to a site of www.europart.de of the EUROPART Holding and at any data retrieval, data will be stored about this process in a log file. The storage exclusively serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. In particular, the following data record will be stored about each retrieval:

  • Date and time of retrieval
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Message whether retrieval was successful
  • Description of the type of web browser used

EUROPART Holding employees undertake to treat personal data in confidence. Circulation of these data to third parties only, if this is necessary for the execution of the contract. Similarly, EUROPART Holding also places such third parties under obligation to comply with data protection requirements and maintain secrecy.

All data under www.europart.de located on our servers and “hosted” (i.e. stored) there are secured against unauthorized access through series-connected safety systems. Employees of the EUROPART Holding check the effectiveness of the protection periodically.

When you leave our site, e.g. by clicking onto our banner advertisement thus getting to outside sites, the addressees of the target site clicked on set so-called cookies. Social Plugins

EUROPART uses so-called Social Plugins (hereinafter buttons) of the social networks Facebook and Google+.

When you visit our website, these buttons are deactivated as a standard feature, i.e. they do not forward any data to the respective social networks without action taken on your part. You need to activate these by clicking on them before you can use them.

Once activated, a direct link is established with the servers of the respective social network. The content of the buttons is then forwarded by the social networks directly to your browser and incorporated by your browser in the website.

Following the activation of a button, the respective social network can already collect data irrespective of whether or not you interact with the button. If you have logged in to a social network, it can allocate your visit to this website to your user account.

We do not have any influence on the scope of data collected by the social networks via your buttons. With regard to the purpose and scope of collecting data and the further processing and use of the data by the respective social networks as well as your rights in that respect and setting options for protecting your privacy, please see the data protection notices of the respective social networks.

Automatically recorded, non-personal data and the generation of cookies

Accessing our websites, sometimes (i.e. not via a registration) generated information is automatically collected that cannot be assigned to certain individuals (e.g. by means of an Internet browser or an operating system; domain names of websites, from which access is made via a web link; number of visits; mean staying time; retrieved sites). We and our group companies use this information in order to continuously improve and update our website appearance as well as enhance our attraction.
